Kelli HarrodKelli is a Scenic Designer and artist. Recently, she has designed Love's Labor's Lost and Julius Caesar with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Into the Woods with UMKC Conservatory, Pipeline at the Unicorn Theatre, Dial M for Murder with Kansa City Actors Theatre, Finding Nemo at the Coterie Theatre. She is also one of the artists and fabricators working at The Rabbit hOle, a newly opened children's museum in Kansas City, featuring exhibits based off of children's books.
Some of her other designs include American Son, A Doll's House Part 2, Bond: A Soldier and His Dog, Men on Boats, and Informed Consent at the Unicorn Theatre, PUFFS, Secret Soldiers at the Coterie Theatre, A Doll's House, Dracula: A Song of Love and Death and Blithe Spirit with the Kansas City Actors Theatre, L'Enfant et les Sorteliges with the UMKC Opera Conservatory, and Something Rotten and A Midsummer Night's Dream at the White Theatre at the J. In August of 2017 she assisted Tobin Ost for the set design of the new musical Between the Lines at the KCRep. She also has designed multiple shows at the Millbrook Playhouse such as Unnecessary Farce, and The Kitchen Witches. Kelli received her MFA from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in Scenic Design under the professorship of John Ezell and Alice Bracken-Carroll. She graduated Wittenberg University with a B.A. in Studio Art, and minors in Technical Theatre, and Art History, where she designed numerous productions such as Arms and the Man, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Mousetrap, and Fuddy Meers. |
